The Fieldsports Company is a small private business that offers its clients an exclusive tailored experience in shooting and corporate entertainment. Our days encapsulate all the realistic aspects of a real days driven game shooting on some of the UK`s finest Estates. We have found that our clients love our attention to detail, from handpicking the Estates to the champagne and food served out in the field. It is very easy to relax and socialise in such stunning surroundings and our regular corporate clients believe it is the best way to network whilst offering something different.
Our experience enables us to present some of the best clays you are likely to ever see, there is definitely no repetition and we create a gentle flow of birds breaking over the line of guns, intermittent with fast flushes as birds break together, we also have the beaters bringing in some of the cover before the drives for that special touch. We can tailor the drives and indeed the day depending on the strength of the shooting team, enabling game shooters to practice those high birds, whilst also giving novice shooters steady clays to get there eye in and confidence up. Estates
Nick Walker
The Fieldsports Company is originally the concept of Nick Walker. Him being an Avid and passionate Sportsmen, whose dream it has been to create a business in this Industry. Having worked in the shooting industry in the top flight for many years, Nick has gained invaluable experience on what the client wants and most importantly how to deliver what the client wants. "We believe attention to detail is everything on our days, always making sure that the client has a memorable day". Nick also runs a Farm Contracting Business and a Successful Partridge shoot at home, he also sources bespoke days for clients up and down the country.
Nick over the years has worked on and designed some of the biggest Charity Shoots and Corporate Events in the UK. "We always try and do something a bit different and add a touch of flair, which usually always gets the shooters talking". Nick has worked at some of the best shooting grounds in the country such as The Royal Berkshire Shooting School, West London Shooting School and Bisley Shooting Ground, for several years and is fully APSI qualified and is now regarded as one of the top game Shooting Instructors in the UK.
Will Ingham
Will Ingham came into the business in July 2009 when he saw the opportunity to combine his passion for shooting, with a fun growing business. Will gained corporate entertainment experience when he worked for Land Rover Experience where he taught as an instructor on both private and corporate events.
Throughout the shooting season Will is a regular on some of Yorkshires finest Grouse moors, Loading, hosting and instructing on a free-lance basis. Will has built up a wealth of knowledge and contacts for many of the north’s most prestigious grouse moors, pheasant and partridge shoots.
Will has just undertaken his APSI instructor training and offers shooting tuition on a small private estate in North Yorkshire. Will is now leading the expansion and development of the fieldsports company into North Yorkshire.
Chris Cottingham
Chris has worked for the company since 2008 and has been shooting for twenty plus years. Chris has a lot of experience in course design, putting on Championship shoots that cover several disciplines throughout the clay shooting world, along with Large Scale Charity and Corporate Events as well. "Between Nick and Myself there's not much we haven't seen and cannot do, regarding course design". Chris’s knowledge of traps is second to none as he fixes and rebuilds traps for The Fieldsports Company and other people, making him an integral part of the company.
Chris is also an International Qualified Referee and has travelled the World Refereeing in some of the biggest shoots and Championships in the World. Chris is also a fully Qualified APSI & CPSA professional coach and offers private Tuition.
